Root Riot Graduates

All were started on 3-12-13 or later and moved to the screened porch today. The single pic is Zidi which was also started in RR on 3-12-13. Wanted to show how large and awesome looking the leaves are. Thanks for looking.

Congratulations, Mike. Those are pretty impressive results!

Thanks again to Rafed for putting many of us on to the RR cubes. I can't say enough good things about them.

Mike

I have got to try some of these.  That is very impressive.  Probably next year now though.  Where do you find them.  I have looked at Home Depot and walmart near me none.

Those are something else. Congratulations, they look just super. You know what you are doing.

Nice job they all look really healthy.

Congrats Mike,

I don't deserve all the credit.

I was just happy to help my figs friends increase their success.
We are all passionate about this hobby.

Glad it is working out for you.

have not tried them but must say sounds tempting

Charitup - I found them (semi) locally at a hydropondics store.  Amazon carries them as well.  I purchased the 7" humidity dome - a dome/cover of some sort is definitely necessary.

The cubes also come in 50 and 100 count bags for future use of the trays/domes.  I didn't purchase the kit since I have lots of various count inserts and 1040 trays from seed starting in the garden.

Nice work Mike...same as you I switched to root riot around the beginning of March...I know that many other systems work well, but as for me, it's root riot from here on out.

Hee Haw!  I got roots on this Mulberry cutting.   Variety is Shangri-La from USDA.   Multiple other varieties failed partially due to someone not watering the cuttings, but this took.   Next I will try the weeping mulberry that some people here still want, and propagation has never worked before.
