rooted cutting + humidity -no leafs

Hi
i am rooting a bunch of "winter" cuttings in a humidity chamber and i got them to root but the problem is that alot of them dont put out leafs but they have a proper root mass....

question is-Will taking them out of the humidity enviroment will hurt them in anyway?

will it maybe help to induce some budding?

btw the room is warm enough cause i have 2 pc's running full time..

thanks

Elin, if you have a well developed root system, you should be fine taking them out of the humidity chamber, especially because they have no leaves, yet...

The reason for the humidity on young cuttings (and removing most of the leaves when taking cuttings) is that the plant actually loses water through it's leaves through a process called, "transpiration" and, until it's able to uptake water through it's roots to replace the water it loses, this can pose a problem.  Leaving the young cutting in a high-humidity environment (and removing the leaves) minimizes the transpiration until the root system is developed enough to be able to uptake enough water to support the cutting.

thanks .

another question is , i have some cutting that i didnt have luck rooting (FLANDERS) ..  is it possible to convert dormant cutting to rooting somehow?
i am asking cause i dont have alot of time rooting more cuttings now and maybe ill wait till full winter is on...

You can try some rooting hormone, or perhaps honey.
