I wouldn't use pure peat moss in this procedure. Although the picture shows you good results, but peat moss stays too wet which can cause fungus.

Experimentd with a few expandable peat cups last season with good luck in laundry room,

Just having fun experimenting last season and season before that with Peat and S.Moss also in another .
