Hi All,
Thanks to Arian, i have a bunch of cuttings from different fig trees. I wrapped each one individually in newspaper and i put them 2 big zip lock bags. Since it doesn't get too warm inside my house, i usually take the cuttings outside, and put them under sunlight until about 5pm, then move them inside the shed, where the temperature is a bit warmer than inside my house. I leave them there till the next morning. IS this a good idea? I saw today that the bag was getting pretty humid inside when i was leaving it under the sun.
Also, sometimes i have the bags covered with a old wool sweater. Is that okay?
Last question, i am rooting a Peter's Honey fig cutting inside my house. It had already leafed out when i got the cutting from the mother tree. It has no roots now. I just put it in some potting soil mixed with perlite and moss.. I had dipped the cutting in Dip N' Grow rooting hormone. It looks like the leaf is dying. Is this normal?
I just updated a picture.
Thanks!
