Rooting Experiment

One more thing off my To-Do List ...

Attached is a cleaned-up write-up on the Cutting Media Study. Comments and feedback are always welcome.

Always enjoyable to see your experiments and how they go.
I like to add your writeing skills are excellent also.

Thanks Martin

Working down that "To-Do" list ...

Attached is a short How-To write up on using the "baggie" method for rooting. Hope it is useful to someone out there.

Very good steve, very understanding for those people who aren't as versed in Scientific mumbo jumbo.  Anyone should be able to follow these very good steps. ciao

Steve,
that will surely help folks.
Maggie said it best in above post.
Best Wishes

I'm glad, thanks gang.

Steve,

If you're still around, I just wanted to say "Thanks!" for conducting this for everyone to see.  I just now found this thread while trying to find more infomation about the little white, fluffy knots that show up on cuttings.

With my Sal (Gene's) in particular, I have hordes of these all over the wood, and they wipe away easily, and show a bump in its place.  At first I thought this was a root initial, so I experimented with two of the cuttings, potted one and left the other one in a baggie.  Neither one of them rooted from those points after several weeks.

I suppose this is not a root initial, so ... I also wonder what these starchy, fluffy prominences are?
