Rooting success vs caliber and age of cutting

That's interesting!! Have you seen any roots coming out the bottom of the pot? And you are in a dry climate like mine. Maybe I need to plant more stumps!!

It's barely rooted.Just rediscovered it when I was trimming back some of the vines.
