I'm including a pic of some Celeste and Hardy Chicago rooting very well in water.
What's funny, is that the little HC was trying to produce a little fig! I just saw it and broke it off, but it snapped a pic to share.

You can see it at the end of my paint brush in the pic

I guess I'll try an spot them up soon, because roots look to be a good three to four inches.
Any thoughts?

Not that uncommon to have rooting cuttings try to make a fig.  As Jon sais, twist or break the baby fig off so the cutting expends energy growing and not making a fig.
