Hi all, I'm happy to report that a few of my cuttings have rooted..hip hip hooray!  Now all I have to do is transplant to a bigger pot..what could go wrong?? ;-)  Wish me luck!  I'll be reading up on that in the forum this weekend.  Also, we recently vacationed in Gallicia, Spain and took a day trip to Portugal. I saw so many patches of fig trees growing wild and wished I could have ID at least some of the varieties, or better yet, had visited at a time that I could have test tasted.  It was a wonderful trip but I'm also glad to be home and kicking off the gardening season.  I hope everyfig is growing well for all of you and thanks again for all of your support as I try to get up to speed on all things fig-related.
