Running out of Space

Well it seems as the plants are getting bigger and its not warm enough to put them in my parents Backyard yet, here are some of the figs I have growing in my office currently have 56 potted figs.

Hi Nelson,
hope things are going well.
I see some space for a few more containers heres what you do.
On desk by keys 3 more will fit.
On white cabinet 2 more will fit.
Clear plastic container  move cups and 4 more will fit.
Window sill 2 to 3 more will fit.
On wall make shelves 10 to 15 more will fit
On floor by patio door 8 to 10 more will fit.
Ah heck you have plenty of room .   ; )
Ok now you have room if i calculate right about 30 more.  LOL

LOL Martin I think your right, I still have some cuttings Rooting now in the Bags and will continue rooting until the end of May. Then I will retire from rooting cuttings sight lol. I need to clean up a bit here and make some more room but I think you are right I should be able to fit atleast another 20 smaller plants.

If anyone can show you haw to fit in "one more fig" it would be Martin. ;-))

Your trees are looking good Nelson. I'm sure you've put alot of effort into them.

That's great Martin! Where there's a will there's a way, as the old saying goes. Room for at least 30 more. Get a little creative and I'm sure you could make even more room than that Nelson :-) .

I know I could find plenty more room myself. This would be much to the wife's dismay though. So I struck a deal with my local horticulturist friend    :-)) . He agreed to root all the cuttings I wanted in exchange for a few trees to call his own. He's planning to build a second hoophouse too. Wonder how many fig trees one can grow in a large hoophouse hmmm.....

Tom Its funny you say that but I feel like im being watched all the time, I took Martin's advice and re-aranged the pots and definately have room for atleast 20 more plants. Wich is good because by the time I get all the cuttings rooted and receive plants I ordered it will be around that. The good thing is in May most of them will go to my parents backyard can only Imagine how my Mom will react to that lol, but thats a whole other thread.  Funny thing is some of the cuttings I rooted in October that only grew about 4-5 inches until now have been outgrown by cuttings that were rooted last month go figure. Thats why I wont root any cuttings between Aug-Feb anymore.
