I am new to growing figs so I need all the help I can get.  I have some small fig plants that have acquired what looks like rust on the leaves. Can anyone help me with this. I have no ideas.

Neem oil follow directions on the bottle,but get pure Neem oil spray it on your trees remove a lot of the bad leaves and it should take care of it. It happened to me last year I purchased some trees from Louisiana late last summer. Next time quarantine your new trees. I treat all my new trees with neem oil and make sure they don't have rust before I put them with my older trees.

Many thanks Victor. I went right out and cutoff most of the infected leaves and bagged them sealed them and put them in the trash which has just been hauled away. Your advice has me off to the localHome Depot to get some Neem oil.  Once again thank you very much! Larry
