Glad you got ripe ones. I stopped by Salem in July and tasted a few brebas, they tasted really good. I didn't have my camera then.

The one Salem dark that I rooted this year is loaded with figs already.

Hey Marius, do you still have your Salem White? How is it now? thanks,

Bump

Hello everyone, I bumped up this thread because I have a large Salem White. It has the prettiest leaf pattern. And the tree consistently pops out a lot of figs! However, in 2 years I have not tasted one. In 2011, all fig on my tree soured....every last one of them. In the Fall of 2011, I relocated it to one of the hotest spots in my yard and that didn't do it. Well, if you've been following the US weather, you will see that over the past 2 weeks it has been raining in Charlotte every day. This year, I plan on moving my tree to under my covered deck. Just wondering how your tree performing at your location.

Hey Dennis, I have one as well although this is my first year with it, mine has been doing really well and is just starting to have some figlets form on it, I keep mine in a pot and it gets about 8 hours of sun a day,
