Oh wow, I rooted a bunch of these this season and they are growing like crazy, I didn't know the figs looked this good. 

Yes; this varieties very vigor...

This is one gorgeous fig indeed.

I've got one cutting of Sal's El that survived (it rooted outside). It is still just barely making it, but its alive.

   Thanks for posting. I am still a bit confused on the difference between Sal's Corleone and Sal's EL, Are they the same form different sources, or are they entirely different (as in referring to two different Sals, each of whom has a fig named after him)?

They are entirely different figs although they both originate from Sicily (Sal'sEL is a Mt. Etna type).  Presumably they are named after two separate people who were both named Sal.

Thanks Steve. Figs are confusing enough without the homonymics. (I just made up that word, but you get  the idea.)
