Has anyone ever heard of a "San Jose" fig, possibly with a tie to Texas A&M? A family relative here in south Louisiana says he has a tree a friend from T A&M gave him some years ago called a San Jose. It is supposed to be cold hardy and makes a good green fig. I am going to try to grow a cutting and see what happens.
