It is up there with CH and Genos Black. It is a keeper.

I have a young black and a red. I'm really looking forward to enjoying some figs from them after seeing threads like this!

I am sure you will like it. It is thick jam like and I though it was very sweet. To my taste. Good luck with yours.

Yes it is a keeper Bugs. It does have a tendency to split here.

Sicilian Black is my top performing fig so far. Great flavor, good size, and really sweet. Fruit production is great as well.

Sicilian Black is my current fave. Even though my plant was less than 18 inches tall it produced 8 big, delicious figs! I am going to make more starter plants so I can have more next year. Navid's Italian Black is supposed to be very similar minus the splitting.

Very nice looking, you sold me with just the photo's.    I must add Sicilian Black to my cutting want list this winter.
