scottish figs?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any figs that are commonly grown in Scotland, is it possible to grow figs there?

isn't it too cold for figs up there? i would be interested also.. anything and everything scottish goes well with wee bit of ale and pipes.. and curry.

Kennedy

Pete I was thinking the same thing, but I'd rather it be Macallan, 21 year old preferably.

Personally prefer Lagavulin. But stopped drinking hard stuff. I get too happy. LOL

Lol, you can never be too happy when enjoying a good scotch!!

You may try Mackenwood or Macool in pots.

celt, do you mean castle kennedy? that's the only one I can find online with that name.

thanks ottowan I'll look for those also.

The Kennedys get royalties for every bottle of Scotch that comes into the US.  Started by Joseph Kennedy, once was a buck a bottle, don't know what it is now.

Yes and as Celt mentioned the only one grown in Scotland that I am aware of is Castle Kennedy.
