A very nice somewhat underrated variety. Barry taste, vigorous and productive, doesn't split, thin skin, what else to wish?? Highly recommend it.

I agree Scotts black is a great fig to have. Cold hardy,big producer, vigorous and great tasting figs.If I had to narrow my collection down to just 5 this one would make the cut.
Am looking forward to my first LSU Black figs,Am hoping to get a few ripe ones soon !
