Seeds Germination

I tried to the fig seeds germination. Olympian, Lattarula, White Honey, Brown Turkey, Ice Crystal so the five varieties.
I used a kitchen towels and a zipper bag.
The germination rate is the average 60%.
I hope to grow in the future as well.

Figs grown from seeds will not be the same as parent.

You grow Seedlings to become better Plants. I make Seedlings to become winterhart Plants with much big Fruits. The Parents from the Seeds grow on Afghanistan and i am happy about the new Variity.

Hello,
This is very interesting . I hope you are germinating fertile seeds
When the time comes, please let us show a few pictures of the resulting plant, leaf and fruit
Good luck

I bought seeds said to be Panache from ebay and all of them germinated. I know there is almost zero chance to get common type plants, and even lower chance of getting edible and enjoyable quality figs. It's just playing with seed and experimenting. I just wanted to state that so people don't get carried away hoping to find the next Black Madeira.

Thank you Paul
I shall try and find the Kunduz dried fruit here and test/germinate a few seeds on sort of rather dry and rocky soil.

Dear Lanopo!
Thank you for your interest on my testing.
Many people can't get the same fruits. However, I am thinking of keeping the result without giving up.
I'll be write testing's result. :)

I think the Chance to become common Type Plants is by afghan Seeds hight, not so as by türkisch Seeds. By italian or Hrovatia/Kroatian Seeds is the Chance middel.
For Germany, Russia, Kanada, Skandinavia... is good if we become more extremly hard Variity. Thats possible from Seeds and from the Figs what grow in the Pamir and Hindukusch Mountains.

I surch Cuttings from zentral Asia, but its heavy to find, so i make also Seedlings. I like exchange.

Dear Paul!
Thank you your advice.:)
