Help, does anyone have this fig here in the US?  I know that Davis has it in their collection (DFIC 221) and I'm hoping that I can get a cutting from them, though they haven't responded when I asked them about it.  I'm also hoping that since they have it, then also others have it as well.  Thank you in advance.

Had Becane ,discarded after 4 years due ,to ,Disease, and never getting any fruits out of it.

Thanks Herman, you are the second person who said they had it and disposed of it.  Was yours originally from the Davis collection?

My interest comes from hearing how early the main crop is and how hardy it is in Europe.

I am not sure because i got it in trade,and did not ask at the time.
Never got any fruits so have no idea if it is early or not.

I have one small rooted cutting from this year.
I will have to see how will grow in the future years,
it is said to be a cold hardy fig.

I'd be interested too.
