Good day, those of you that have Violette Soleis could you please post a picture here of the leaf pattern?  I will be making another fig run across Amercia in a few weeks and if I find Violette Soleis, I will buy if if it is a true Violette Soleis.  Jon's website does not have any leaf patterns, just fruit.  thanks!

Chris, I'm planning a road trip in a few weeks and if I find one and it matches Jon's photo, I'm going to get it.  I got a few cuttings that I started a few weeks ago using those Root Riot cube.  I think one rooted.  The hard part is getting it to continue living in it's new pot.  The weather in Charlotte has been quite cool and very rainy!  My young rooted cuttings are inside my garage where its warm.  It's warming up and suppose to be 80 by Friday.  So, things are looking on the up.  They go outside under my deck this weekend.  I like the shape of the VS and hoping I get lucky in my travels.  I'll keep you posted if I find one.

Greenfig, I can locate one by leaf. I found a nursery that sells one, and I want something to compare. Based on Jon's picture and Martin's picture now I have a guide.

It's like comparing Improved Celeste and O'Rourke. A picture speaks volumes to me.
