Is it a common fig? A must know question for most of us, not all though.

I'm not sure how common it is, but I've only seen it in my town in Syria.

Thank you.  That response is very revealing.

Lol, I did say "I've only seen it in my town in Syria." That's all I know about it

Justin,

a common fig is one that does not require a wasp to ripen. Only parts of CA have the wasp here. So for me in MI it will never ripen if it is not a common fig. Almost all figs mentioned here are common. If not it is made clear.
It is clear, you don't know, and you should say so on EBay.  Their are 4 types of figs, btw. It would be nice to know which is is? Only 2 work here. All four work in Syria. I myself feel price is high to take a chance, 20 bucks, free postage, sure, not much to lose. I would hate to spend almost 60 bucks for something that may be useless, besides taking time and money to care for.  Any photos of fruit? It's cool you're offering this, I get it, I just want to inform you it is unclear what you are offering?  I hope it's common! Again thanks for offering stuff!

Oh I didn't know that was the term used for it, in that case yes it's common and does not need a wasp.

Awesome Justin, looks excellent, thanks for the info!
