Will this tree grow better if seperated ??? I was looking at pictures presented on the forum today and they all had single trunks. Should they be seperated. They have been growing for 3 to four years. It is a ischia. Thanks richie

I would leave them, they seem to be doing just fine. It would be a huge amount of stress to the trees to separate them and you would loose most of the roots which would then require you to prune off a huge amount of the top growth.
Okay thanks. I was thinking i would get three trees out of it without damage. But i shell make sure when i buy another one from a nursery that only one tree is in it not three. Thanks Richie
I have a air layer that on one of the bigger branches which has been on there for 3 months. Thanks guys.
It looks nice as is but I would trim away or air layer the small limbs at the bottom and plant them for an accepting neighbor.
Thats a good idea. It looks messy. It produces very well. I want it to look neater and air layering the smaller branch at ground level will help.
Just let them be.
Nail them all together so they stop moving with the wind and before you know it you'll have a big , single trunk tree.
Thanks everyone for your wisdom and response. For now i will let them be but may try Aarons idea. I have done that with mimosa tees to make cool shapes and they grew together.
