It totally makes sense, Those tiny monsters are very smart.
Our Dorset apple puts out at least 200 apples (only 4 years old) and you should see those squirrels how they run up the tree with a huge apple in their mouth. We probably manages to harvest barely 30 apples last early summer. They say, it's OK to harvest them unripe, they ripped in the storage room. Is it true?
well, with figs...as long as the trees are small and in pots, I think it's doable to move them in. But what about in-ground ones...
I was thinking long time about this and the future of the garden and although I had promised myself not ever get a pet after losing Jasper, DOGS might be the best solution. This is a no-win battle otherwise. And quite honestly I hate killing anything on this Earth...we are all God's creatures.
