Should i remove figs?

I recently got back from a leadership school for rotc it was for a week and temps were in the 90's my cousin was supposed to be watering my trees for me and forgot so when i got back yesterday the leaves were yellow and dropping so i quickly gave them water also the fig embryos were falling off but the larger figs were still on strong so some trees only have 10-15 leaves with many figs and i dont know if i should remove the figs or keep them on what do you guys think???....ill show pics tomorrow

You may not have enough leaves to properly ripen the fruit. Pics would definitely help.

Hi,
I'd leave them as is ... just keep them watered properly.
A fig is a fig and better than no fig.
I had some trees doing that last year - during my holidays of course- and they made new leaves that sustained the fruits.

Sorry i have to send them 2 at a time

If you'll have time to water them daily or even twice per day if they get dry that often then here's what I'd do.  Since the pots are so small I'd get them thoroughly wet then use 1/2 houseplant strength fertilizer every other watering and leave the figs on.  That's as long as the pots have reasonable drainage.

Ok thanks there in 5 gallon buckets and i usually water them every 2 days but i will water more often and give the fertilizer and see how things go

Sounds like great advice. That's amazing a 14 yr old has an interest in figs. I didn't start in Figs until my late 50's and didn't know there were so many types.
