sicilian cuttings??

Does anyone remember someone selling cuttings last year off a tree originally from Sicily? I think that is where he said they were from. Had a nice pic of a pile of ripe figs.

Anyway, here is my problem. I lost the tag off some potted cuttings over the winter. Only one survived, and is doing great. But I don't know what variety it is. I am thinking it is one of the Sicilian cuttings.

I guess it is not absolutely essential that I identify this fig, but I would like to if possible. Thanks in advance.

Were they my Sodus Sicilians?

I don't know

Could it be Carini?

Bingo Gabe! That is the one. Thank you so much for helping me. As of right now I can't be sure that is the one that survived, but I think it is.

Again, thanks!

You're welcome, Gene; I'm glad to be able to help. I happened to have ordered that variety too and I remember it to be from Sicily.
