Sicilian Red and Brooklyn White pic.

All that I have to say is WOW! Sicilian Red is awesome. It might be my best of the year. Has that nice rich fig flavor.

Surprisingly Brooklyn White is also one of my better white figs. Very sweet. Surely a keeper.

Wonderfull pictures.
Congrats

Francisco

Thanks for the nice comments Mike, Bob, and Francisco.

Thanks for the photos, sicilian red looks great, I have a young tree that I am hoping to try next year

Nice pics, and congrats Art.  Sicilian Red was one of my top 3 this year also.  The fruits from mine were smaller and darker than yours, but really good taste.  (Like I said, one of my top three).  Must be our climates really are pretty close.  Congrats again.

Hi Art.
Beautiful figs makes my mouth water.

Vito

Those sure do look good.

I have a Sicilian Red in the incubator right now.  About a week now, but no roots yet.    I killed all mine from late last winter.  Hope to do better this time around.

Art, those Red Sicilian's look great!  I'll just have to enjoy pictures like yours till I get my own.

James you need to talk to Dave about his Red Sicilians.  He sent me one and I swear he dosed it with figgy steroids before sending it to me.  That thing was 10 - 12" when he sent it and now it's almost 5 ft.  I took 4" off the top to make it start branching out.  FYI I only got that plant at the end of August.

I'm really happy to hear both these are so good figs, because I have both started.

@ James, If your's doesn't make please contact me, I have 2 started.

Very tasty figs, thanks for sharing.

Best,
Tam

Art, both fig look really good for this time of year. Is this the first year for them, or are they a late fig here?

Bugs, They are first year trees. Started last winter. Next year they should come earlier.

Art, the Sicilian Red looks delicious. How was the skin on it?

Great Looking Fruit Pics......I have written down I want these......If I get everyone I like will have to buy / rent property....LOL

Tami, The skin was actually very good for this time of the year. It wasn't tough at all. Maybe a little thicker than it would be if it would of ripened in the heat.

That looks like a good fig especially with the honey oozing from the eye. Another one on my wishlist;)

Tony, I'll get an airlayer started this spring.

Damn, this doesn't bid well for me keeping my tree total down and its just the start of cutting season.  Agreed Art, that Red Sicilian is one nice looking fig.  I'm going to be sinful and covet your fig. : )

Well most any fig would be good at this time of year now that their tucked away except for......  ; )

Nice figs, Art.

Steve, Good luck with sticking to a limit. I got way over my head this year. (I mean way over...)
I will have to liquidate next year.

Martin, What variety is still growing at your place?

Art there all put away for season .

I think mine will go in this weekend. My first year plants are being stubborn. They've taken a hand full of frosts, but are still hanging in there. My older trees know the routine.
