NiceThank you for posting.Jennifer
Wow! That's a beautiful greenhouse. Is it attached to his main house? That would be so convenient. Very lovely.
It is attached and under the nice deck he has, but I had to crop the picture for the mgbites allowance. I promised him to return to make better ones. I took pics of his sleeping fig trees...so cute. He was very creative in using the area under the existing deck.http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/file?id=1462506
It looks nice. I can't wait to see it in person :)
What a great thing to have a green house for his figgy babies. How awesome!
Grasa,Thank you for sharing. Slavi and I was just talking about this. I cant' wait to see how his figs are producing this year.
So nice to have access to such a beautiful sunny room. It would make this Jersey boy sooooo happy to have one of those.
The figs have a penthouse !

Looks good! Thanks for sharing. Now I'm getting the greenhouse blues. I got to build one!
Very nice !Where will the next one go ? They always multiply.
Thanks for sharing, Grasa.Since this structure is attached to his house, I am compelled to give a bit of a warning. An acquaintance of mine in Ohio built a greenhouse attached to his home and planted many tropical plants. He spent a considerable sum of money in building it, but it ended up being inadequately planned and cost a LOT of money to remedy some problems. The humidity of the greenhouse was always very high and he ended up having a huge amount of rot forming in the walls of his house. He had to make large repairs and placed a vapor barrier between his house and the greenhouse to prevent recurrence of these problems. He discussed it on different forums and a quick search showed a good report at http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/tropicalfruits/msg0213515413601.html I think it would be good to make sure that Slavi has taken necessary steps to avoid any type of problem such as this.
Wow, thanks for the warning, Harvey, I will make sure he sees this posting.
