Slow rooting cuttings

By now most of us are well into the cutting rooting season. I was wondering if you could post your "slow pokes", how long you have been trying to root them and what method you are using. Also are you using a rooting hormone?

I have been waiting two years for my fig preto to root!!!!! Its got little white knubs starting to show
Ok ok. Finally got fig preto to root. Took two months. I switched to a big rooting ben. The clear ones short sides with lid. Bought high grade coir. The trick is the coir has to be really really sqeezed dry as you can get it. Put coir in ben. Put cutting in bury them do not pat down. Put lise on. Check it every 3 weeks. Will not dry out with lid on.
I do this method with my priceless cuttings.

Wow, what effort. I have a Red Lebaneese (Beka valley) cutting that was an extra in a purchase, but either not too fresh or just prone to mold and hard to root. I have it in Pure sand and feed it superthrive every other watering...removed humidity dome (Seltzer bottle top) because slight mold was forming....

Maybe the warmer weather we are going to get will help, any suggestions welcome.

I was able to take cuttings with me to Guatemala, and after about three weeks, I don't see any sign of initials or bud/branch growth..  The cuttings were cut in late November, and stored in the refrigerator.  I kept the bags closed for too long and didn't air them out, and about 20% got some mold.  I washed them in cold water, and then tried to air them out frequently.  That kept the mold at bay until I could get them in a rooting environment here in Guatemala.  I'll try to give an update when it's all said and done :)
