It is amazing how much the tiny pea sized ones grew in a week or two of hot weather. How large are atreano figs when ripe? Around what date would you expect the figs to be ripe this year in NYC? I know to look for yellowish color and starting to shrivel but just curious. You can see where the branch was pinched in one of the picture. That is my pinky for scale.

Looks good! I am expecting my first ripe main crop bet. 8/15 and 8/30, ie right on time. You should start pinching off new embryos no later than next week as they probably won't ripen in time.

most figs take 75-80 days to ripen from the date  you first notice fig embryos. That is why I track when I spot the first on each of my varieties.
