Smaller Dark Colored Fig

What is actually one of the smaller dark figs and your experience with the plant such as early ripening, taste, growth habits etc.

Smallest Dark fig I have is Negronne. Late July/early Aug the brebas are ripe. Pretty good brebas. Main crop not as good as brebas due to lack of heat units. Most main crop figs never get to ripen in my zone 6/7. Growth is quite vigorous and sucker easily. Has branching habits. May try next year with extra tree pinching off brebas to force main crop to come earlier.
I understand Ruby 4 is an outstanding medium size fig. My source rate it better than Black Madeira. Another good dark fig is I-258.

one of the best dark figs I've tasted were Dark portuguese, Sal's, Vista mission, Macool (a syrian dark fig), hardy chicago, Lebanese red (unique flavor), black madiera,  I haven't tried Marseilles Vs yet.
I have high hopes for Ronde de Bordeaux, as it's rated high with European growers. Other new varieties I'm waiting on are Bursa, Black Brasil, and few others I've collected recently.
