This little desert king has some big plans apparently. If the other 4 cuttings didn't root I would be taking that fruit off but I just can't resist seeing what happens lol.

Adorable!  Worst that can happen is it will drop the fruit.  Desert King isn't called "KING" for nothin'............

Hey Tyler, that is so cool. I had Col de Dame Gris do the same a couple weeks ago. Off with the fig though. You are correct about the T8 lights. Not
very expensive and they do a great job. Good luck the rest of the winter.

I have three desert king trees i rooted and planted outdoors last july. they are about 3 foot tall now and i am hoping to get fruit from them this year.

Enjoy and send it for operation 'snip'.  It would be better for this king  with no kingdom.
