Some Breba's from Yesterday

Left to Right Blk. Marseilles Vs, Kadota, Doçe  the three in the middle are Kadota. None of them had a flavour worth mentioning, although my Doçe looks exactly like White Marseilles the Breba crop is very very bland not sweet like my Lattarula or white Marseilles will never leave a breba on this tree again.

Kadota Breba looked weird was sweet but I just dont like the rubbery texture of the Kadota skin, and since I like my figs with skin I dont think I will be keeping this one for too long. Anyone else feel this way about Kadota?

Black Marseilles Vs, Was the better tasting one even though I thought it was spoiled had a nice fruity flavour but was not sweet at all. But main crop should be ripening by end of Aug.

Nice harvest you got there , and great photos too. I have to agree with you about the skin texture of the kadota , but so far it is the best tasting of the figs I have tried ( 3 varieties this year ). I have a few more varieties ripening so
hopefully I'll have more to compare too.
