I do have Sal EL where the fruits are trying to stay fresh and young as ever. There is still chance. Last year I had good number of ripe figs on Sal EL.

Martin ,here is ripe fig on my Sal`s .Cuttings was started this Spring ,have about dozen more figs to come on the same tree ;)

Remis is that the scion from past winter and plant fruited ?

I am surprised myself cutting started in March this year have dozen figs on it  so far I ate 2 of them and it seems the rest of figs have plenty of time to get ripe .
If next year be good for figs ,I should have a lots of them especialy Sal`s is very productive fig.

Did Hardy Chicago make it into a plant for you.

My hardy Chicago is about 4 ` feet tall ,I toped it about 3 weeks ago and now it has new branches growing about another 12" or so. Has 3 figlets on it they hopefuly will ripe I gave it nice big pot so next year I expect more figs from it.
