My wife's grandfather Has quite a few fig trees. I think a few of them are the same, but I can not tell yet. I knew nothing about fig trees until I picked up a few last year and joined this site. He was generous enough to give me a lot of branches from his trees for me to try to root. Unfortunately, He didn't tell me what was what and there is no way to know until the fruit. All I know is some are from this one some are from that one! He doesn't know what kind they are only they are from Sicily where he is from and he has had most of them for decades. The fruit on most are still to small to see and he just describes them as white, red and brown... One tree does have some decent sized Breba now and he told me this weekend that he gave me some branches from it. I don't know much about the growth, but I am kind of surprised to see how big they are already.
This is one tree wrapped for the winter all he does is prune it, tie up a bit and cover it with a plastic tarp.

here it is this past weekend.

This is a grafted one white and brown. This one has a house that he built for it. It looks like an outhouse. unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of it this winter.

The leaves were Huge already

I am not sure what this one is, but it was pruned down and wrapped the same way.

This is one he said he gave me cuttings from. Most of the leaves on the cuttings look like this one.

This is the same tree the leave is a different, but I know its to early to tell what the leaf shape will really be.
