Tyler, I only kept my desert king for 2 years, it kept growing too vigorously and would break in storms so it got some rot in the branches despite pruning, plus I didn't really think the brebas were worth keeping for the taste, I would rather than 2 colars. None the less it seemed like it need to be headed back as the new growth like to go vertical, perhaps either tying the branches down (gently) to force more new growth of the buds or pinching or pruning might help you get some good growth to produce brebas as well as making sure the branches don't get exposed to too much cold before winter and during winter might help? I found it like to put out a ton of main crop figs as well but my assessments may not be fair since I only kept it for 2 years.
