Well,
The little saddleback caterpillars (1&2) just showed up and I decided to let them have a few orange leaves. Beauty has it's perks. As the tomato horn worms (3) turn into sphinx moths I had to let them live as well.
These terrible little sucker bugs (4&5) are being protected and "milked" by the ants and even though I think it's really interesting they got a dose of rubbing alcohol. Adios.
Imagine my surprise. If you look real close you'll see the worm (6&7) inside of this fig (an unripe breba) I harvested from my Lemon fig tree. What's that kid's joke about what's worse then finding a worm in your apple? Finding half a worm. Fortunately not this time. Another big plus for closed ostioles.
These 2 fawns (8&9) lost their mom and have moved into my yard. Even though they look like tasty vealison to me I can't bring myself to do anything but just watch the poor little tree rats. Heart as hard and as calloused a marshmallow. Oh well.
These organza bags (10) seem to work really well. Thanks Bob.
