Today I just picked a well ripened fig that I had shown on here earlier. I had forgotten to place my camera in macro when photographing the cut open fig(very blurry) in that shot. This time I did now if I can just get the shaking under control. The photo is much clearer than the earlier one I posted before..I must say now that I have eaten three of them - my wife and I like the flavor very much.

I also placed a photo of the same variety fig I harvested a week or so ago showing a quarter near the fig for sizeing.

This will be a keeper for me plus the fact that it has family ties coming from my Italian relative living in Switzerland.

I hope it survives the winter. It did real well giving me a few figs considering how far back I cut it when it was just starting out in life.
