Martin, these first two are for you. I got some cutting of Martins UK from "SteveNJ". I don't know which one it is for I understand you had two unknowns. Perhaps you can tell me which Steve has.

This next one is one of the first cuttings I rooted which came from my most generous friend Rafed. It's a Negronne. It's one of two that look identical, tall and skinny.

Here is a picture of a Celeste that has a breba on it, This tree is 5 years old. I bought it from Walmart as a Celeste because that was the only fig I knew at the time. It grew great for 3 years but only made very small and very few figs. They were smaller than a quarter and so far apart that I only ate maybe 6 off the tree. After its 3rd year, I pruned it severely, planning to take it out all together. I cut every branch that I could with my loping shears which can cut through a 2 1/2 branch. That left only the main trunk and 4 side branches. Before I could cut it down it sprouted in the spring and I let it go. It only made a couple of figs and Gustav gave it hell. This winter we had the coldest winter in a while with overnight temps down to 22 and 24 with several night in the upper 20's It took off this year real early and now is loaded with figs including the breba. Even though small if they are tasty it has a reprieve.

Jason, here is one of your Hobarts. It rooted from one end to another and I didn't know which end was up. I laid it in the tray with a clear lid where it stayed for weeks until it finally shot out a bud. You can see root growing out of the ground. They keep coming up and drying up.

I have more that I will post later. I hope you enjoy,
