These are some unknowns nearby.
This (Unknown Northgate #1 DF) first one is from a tree right by the sidewalk on Northgate in my city. Also right by a house. I've been eyeing this tree for over a year. Walked by it today and it has many ripe fruit. Doesn't look like anyone is picking. I took a few for pictures. It kind of looks like celeste, but on average, the fruit seem a little bigger. They also have a small void inside. They are absolutely delicious! Sweet and soft. Even better tastine than the ones in my "Bowl full of Celeste" thread.
This on (Unknown Rochelle #1 DF), I had shared cuttings with a few people here last year. I have one of these growing, but no fruit. I stopped by the mama tree and found these. It looks much like the ones above, but not as sweet. Blander.
This one (Unknown Rochell #3 DF), I found after I had shared the the ones above. I only had one cutting of this, but not sure if I ever started it. Or it died. Anyway, this is what the mama had to offer. Green fig with red center. Completely different taste. Not sweet at all. Not sure what it tasted like. It had much firmer consistancy and seems a bit more acidy. Not a real word, lol.. The seeds had some crunch. I wasn't empressed by it, but the birds seemed to like it.
