I started some cuttings last week. Up to now, I only started cuttings received from UCD so it wasn't until late March that I'd start rooting cuttings. I used a brand new bag of moss, unopend from last year, and the plastic shoe boxes. The next day there was white fuzz all over the moss. I had now problems last year. I sprayed the surface with some plain tap water and tossed the moss around to turn it over. It didn't come back? It must have been some short term germination of some kind of spores? Very strange. I almost went back to newspaper in a baggie method.
