Does anyone know what would chew a hole in my petit Nigra Breba figs when they are so tiny? Now they are falling off. Not sure if you can see the tiny hole that is chewed out in the photo. Very disheartening. All I saw around the plant was a whitish spider.

I had tiny figs on my trees in the garage and everyone was eaten off. I think pine squirrels or mice or rats not sure.

I am so sorry to hear what happened to your figs. What size were yours. Mine are still tiny, barely over a quarter inch.

A little smaller than a pea so probably about the same. Im just glad it didnt kill the trees they were eaten down to the bark.

I am glad your figs trees survived, I just can't believe it, I thought it was some kind of insect. My figs are barely leafing out, still only buds so totally heartbroken at this point

Yeah it stinks, I had to little Panchee figs going last year. Then bluejays pecked them off. Im at war with all of them now!!!
