Does anyone know of a good retail nursery where I can buy fig tress in South central or South West Louisiana (say as far east as Baton Rouge, or west to Beaumont TX).  It seems all the local and big box store places only carry the Sason Becnel grown varieties (LSU Purple, LSU Gold, Celeste and Brown Turkey).  I already have young LSU Purple and Gold trees planted this year as well as a variety of suspected Celeste mature and semi-mature trees (all from same tree cuttings).  I would like to add a little more variety next year though.  (I am in west central Louisiana near the zone 8b/9a line, but fairly commonly travel all along I-10 from Houston to Baton Rouge)

Thanks Ike

p.s. I am mainly looking for larger nursery grown trees now, not small cuttings as I have my hands full enough dealing with various cuttings already.

Probably not, I give it a 20% chance, I know it will be much smaller than in previous years when it was in Baton Rouge, all I know is this is posted on the LSU ag page calendar "May 19, Olive and Fig Field Day at the Hammond Research Station, Hammond"  If there is more information I have not found it.
