I have an Italian Black from Becnel's. Last year it gave some suburb figs, late in the season. It died to the ground in the winter so I'm not sure if it will give any figs this year or not.

Sometime I think that we are slaves to figs. As long as we are here they will never die. We propagate and spread them all over, even places that they would never have grown themselves. Maybe this is their grand plan?

Interesting perspective Jarrett.
Brian, is that right up against the levee south of Belle Chasse? I was working down there a couple months ago, and saw something like that as I was jogging down the levee for exercise...

Hmmm  instead of pods.....aliens are figs and looking to take over the US by making us want them and sharing them with others.   I could swear I hear a low whisper sound each time I go outside the sounds like  "Get more Figs, You need more figs"  Brian perhaps the BT? I adopted from Lowes was born at Bechnels?   Ah a creole baby.    Joyce
