hello,
i just moved to sw florida not long ago, zone 10. today i bought a spanish fig tree, haven't planted it yet. what is the minimum distance from the house should it be planted? how tall is it going to get? it's not 2 feet tall yet.

Hey olga, welcome.  Sorry I don't know distance, they say figs grow well next to a concrete foundation.  You can prune it to your desired height.  The search feature link on the upper right might help you.

thank you, gloria! 10 feet from the house is already in neighbour's bedroom :) i'm adjusting to little plot after a big back yard and no neighbours on either side :) i'm glad to know i can prune it to desired height.
