I had the pleasure of meeting Vern 2006 and his wife last year and had the opportunity to visit his place yesterday. All I can say is WOW,,,,, he has a fig fantasy of a yard, fig plants everywhere you look, in ground and in pots. Spent a while wandering the grounds talking figs, learning what I can and eating the occasional ripe one we found (he said I was a month or so late for good eats). He then loaded me up with several plants to take home and after we ate at a local Chinese buffet, I started the 2.5 hr drive home. Was a very nice end to a very busy couple days. Thanks again Vern !! Your generosity knows no bounds.
