About 2 or 3 weeks ago these spider-webs have shown up. I have been using Seven once a

week but the webs keep moving from fig cutting to fig cutting. The leaves that they are on are

getting brown spots on. Is anyone else having this problem? If so what have you found to work

get rid of the web or spider?

Spider mites.
Spray with Neem Oil once a week according to bottle directions.
Be sure to Spray under the leaves also.
Keep them isolated from all other plants if possible.

Looks like spider mites. I have had good luck killing them with Neem oil.

A stiff spray with water will do them in.  Make it a blast of water.  They can't live in that condition.

The brown was on the leaves at first, I had to look hard to find the webs and to take the Pic.
was some thing.
Thanks  I will try the neem oil once a weeks and move them away from the other.

If you use Neem oil you need to spray every 3 days 3-4 times. They take 3 days for spider mites to incubate from eggs, that way you will kill them all.

What I have done in the past was to spray the entire leaf surface with a soap solution of about 1 teaspoon Dr. Bronners in a quart of water, then blasting it off a few hours later with a hose or sink sprayer, I have even used the showerhead before. Be careful not to spray down into the pot and focus on the undersides of the leaves to dislodge and survivors. Repeat like you would neem oil.

I have also found that with spider mites sometimes it is better to remove the large leaves and focus the spaying on the smaller remaining leaves. The more surface area the mites have to inhabit the easier it is for them to survive the spraying. Besides, once the spider mites have attacked a leave it usually does permanent damage anyway.

Bugs, where do you live that you have so many green leaves now?  Spider mites come out here in the middle of summer.

Good luck getting rid of them!

Just a update, this is 1 week after 1 spraying of Neem oil. The brown leaves are starting to fall and new growth is starting to show. I sprayed a second time and will spray 2 more times. About week before the weds show up the plants stop growing that is went I knew I need HELP.

Thanks to all for all the good advice.

Suzi  these green leaves are cutting that I started in Dec. 2012 inside under lights. I live a in southwest Pa.
