Hello,
I am very new to figs and fig trees - I bought a Black Mission Fig tree almost 2 months ago, I live in Riverside, Ca so during the day the leaves were extremely saggy and were getting scorched, so I did some research and moved the tree to the shade to help the transition and for it to harden off. It was doing well until the newer leaves started to get yellow patches, so after some research I stopped watering the tree as much (I was doing it about once every 3 days) but then the little figs started to shrivel up so apparently I wasn't watering it enough? >_< Since the last watering three of the figs have gotten really plump and starting to get dark, which I assume is a good sign. But now all of the new growth leaves are just covered in yellow splotches and now one of the leaves has a hole in it! I have no idea what is causing the yellowing anymore or this hole. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I have attached 2 pictures, the detail isn't great because I had to make them smaller to upload them. One has the hole circled in red, but you can clearly see how splotchy the leaf is.
Thank you!
