Spoiled figs.?....Why?

I have a fig and something is happening with the figs....all look inside brownish and mushy. Outside looks perfectly normal. Any idea why is this happening?

They are mushy inside! Last year they were perfectly normal.

How was the weather the last month?  Too hot? , too wet? too dry?
How do they taste?  Are they just overripe?

I let my Salce hang too long waiting for that elusive drop of honey and seem similar flesh colour to your fig.
But the Salce still tasted amazing but on the mushy side.

Based on my personal experience, if the tree gets stressed for any number of reasons i.e. Lack of nutrients, root bound, lack of water, over watering, root overheating etc...
the fruit will spoil for that season. Even if the tree shows signs of recovery during the current season, the fruit once spoiled will not. Perhaps next year will be better.

I have another 5 very closed with this ( all are in pots) and the rest do not have any problem. Same conditions and the figs are perfectly fine.

Pino, yours looks very good and appetizing even if it's overripe, mine looks yucky and if I would let them stay longer on tree I am sure will be worst.

There is such thing as over pollination in figs??? In the middle of my figs I have a caprifig and I noticed that some figs from different varieties are huge ready to burst.
