Spring 2015 babies.

By the way,I'm with pops on the leaf patern deal. They can vary significantly from year to year. My experience is with Celeste and LSU Purple. Both those trees can give any leaf shape at any given time! Fruit is very consistant on both every year!

Hello Feigenbaum!! I'm sorry, I should have been clearer--it's not a link--if you copy and paste the line--Will the real Brown Turkey please stand up!        in the search box at the top left of the forum page it will take you to a very informative thread from 2011. Cut & paste is my method of keeping track of instructive and educational threads in the forums I monitor over the years. I have found that just clicking links limits the amount of resources searched. I'm getting to old to learn many new tricks!  pops

Thanks Feigenbaum!  Your pic of your BT figs are spot on with what I have gotten over the years from my bush. The leaf is consistent with some of the ones I get. I seldom take pics of my fruits, figs are just some of what I have, because I have never posted before. I have just used the different forums for info and entertainment. This year I have come to the realization that because my climate here in the US Desert S.W. is so different than most of the fig4fun contributors, I thought I would share from my viewpoint. I definitely will take pics this season and post some for conversations.

I took these pics today, perhaps you, or someone else can give some possibilities of what types they are!  pops

Thanks Nick. It was outstanding until the freeze hit. This past Saturday night ,the temp was supposed to drop to the low thirties. Instead it dropped down to 26'F . That was the temp on Sunday morning at 7:30 am. All inground trees were covered in thick plastic but did not seem to make a difference !

Chris,

Yes maybe it is the desert climate that change the appearance of the tree!

I will check your topic suggestion, thank you.
