Well here its winter but its a nice break to read the 2012 spring catalogs while in the bathroom .

I sympathize with Dieseler. I guess fig withdrawal is starting to hurt especially if it got to be read in the bathroom. LOL. I just bought another 2 pkts of dried Kalamata figs.

Ottawan -- over here we got whacked by artic outflows since monday evening. Temp. have reached -16*C and windchills like - 24*C.  Pots in unheated garage frozen.  Plants should be OK as like any other year. Warmer weather starts on Saturday.

Cathy, I have been laughing for about 3 minutes straight.

Been in Alberta for the past couple days. Calgary was -30F. Medicine Hat, Ab. was @ -20F today.
Right now I am in Shelby, MT. Bit warmer at -15F.

Good fig growing climate.

Yes those spring catalogs do tend to keep the spirits up. I keep mine in a little cabinet well within reach of the throne.
