Spring needs to get here QUICKLY

Running out of space here.  Currently have 62 cuttings in clear cups, 16 in one-gallon pots, and probably another 60 that will take root in the next week or two.  Hurry up, spring!!   ----or slow down Frank?

No time to slowdown Frank.
Keep it going. Spring will be here soon.

in my garage, it's already spring :) hope we don't have sudden drop in temp.

Just discovered I have crocus blooming. That seems a bit early around here, but they are welcome harbingers of spring.

keep going frank! do not surrender! just think of all the different flavors you will have to try. good family fun. btw you have a nice looking family.  have fun

Oh I'm definitely excited to have tons of fruit in the next couple of years.  I have 57 varieties, and a few of each kind.  If my success rate is good, I'll have well over 100 plants to care for this year.  My brother, whom lives a few miles from me, will inherit several of my duplicates.  He's excited and willing to learn so I feel good about him taking over the extras.  It's my first time propagating on such a large scale, but I jumped in with both feet.  I figure I may as well start a bunch of varieties now, then narrow down my favorites after 4-5 years.  By then, you may see a big give-away thread by me.

And thanks eithieus!

We're doing the same and its been fun. I'm really grateful to this forum and the great members and it puts a real big smile on my face to know that I have so many hard to find figs. You got to love that. We have our kids involved as it was shown to me when I was a kid. My hope is that they find the same joy and peace that I have in gardening. It's a real escape for the day to day thing. Have a great day.

Very true.  At the end of the day, kids go to bed, and I'm in the basement taking care of the other 'kids'.  Makes the winter a little more pleasant.
What I'd love to do is record the history of some of the special cuttings I have.  Makes the fruit that much more enjoyable.
